nobita's resident evil (nobihaza) remade.



started with jungle cabin interior! u meet ur first zombie here. so like u take the knife kept on his bed. thrs also a journal of him turning into a zombie.

light and boar and jungle! so im gonna make last of us themed zombies (bloaters, clickers) combined with RE zombies (ima try)

for my game, im stil working on story... starting stuff and all r done..
and for shiba randomness week, i have decided to submit my gun mechanics.. so my gun mechanics have graze, normal crit, headshot crit and miss. this is how my mechanics work-

still working on story... tryna do th shiba randomness week. alr donr (shooting mechanics, have random dmg, with miss and crit chance)after this im gonna make piles on beach that u can dig up. u will get torch, and flint and steel or lighter

## scene 1
Scene 1: Beach House Spawn
CUTSCENE (fade-in):
Camera fades from black.
Nobita is lying on the floor of a beach bungalow (the kind they stayed at during summer holidays).
His glasses are missing, vision blurred, colors washed out.
Outside, faint waves crash against the shore.
Nobita (waking up, dazed):
“Eh...? W-Where am I??? D-Doraemon…?”
(He slowly sits up, looking around nervously.)
“This isn’t right… Weren’t we just here for our summer vacation? O-Oh no… I better look around…!”
GAMEPLAY STARTS:
Screen blur effect until glasses are found.
Player can move around the bungalow, interact with objects.
Puzzle 1: Glasses
Objective: Find Nobita’s glasses (on a shelf, under a pillow, or on the floor).
When picked up → screen sharpens.
Nobita (relieved):
“…Ah, that’s better. Now, what’s this…?”
Puzzle 2: Notes
Papers scattered on the desk / floor. When examined:
Mentions of “Virus… T, H… unstable mutations”.
Signed in handwriting that resembles Doraemon’s.
Nobita (reading aloud):
“V-Virus...? T...? H-Hey, this handwriting… it looks just like Doraemon’s!”
Puzzle 3: Doraemon’s Door
Player finds Doraemon’s Anywhere Door in the corner.
Interacts → door does nothing.
Nobita (panicking):
“N-no way… it’s totally dead! Doraemoooon, help!!”
Puzzle: Activate a fuse box / generator nearby to power it.
After power restores, the door glows faintly but won’t fully activate.
CUTSCENE (resolve moment):
Nobita (calling out): “Doraemon… Shizuka… anyone…?!”
(Silence. He trembles, then clenches his fists.)
Nobita: “…No. I can’t wait for anyone else. If I want to go home—”
Nobita (shouting): “I need to find a way to do this myself!!!!!”
GAMEPLAY RESUMES:
Player leaves the bungalow.
Camera pans slowly across the empty, abandoned coastline: umbrellas collapsed, toys in the sand, but no people.
Nobita (nervously):
“Not a single person…? This feels… wrong.”
→ End of Scene 1.
## Scene 2
Exploration Gameplay: Interactable Objects
Beach Umbrella \& Towels
Towels still damp as if someone just left.
Nobita: “…It’s like they disappeared in the middle of swimming…”
Sandcastle with Toy Shovel
Half-built, water washing it away.
When inspected, Nobita hears faint giggling → but no one is there.
Nobita (jumps): “Eeeh?! I-I could’ve sworn… I heard something!”
Cooler Box
Inside: melted ice, half-eaten popsicles, swarmed by ants.
Nobita: “Y-You mean… someone was just eating here? Then where did they go…?”
Beach Ball (Physics Object)
Rolls toward Nobita when the wind gusts.
When kicked → it pops with a loud hiss.
Nobita (yelps): “Waaah! D-don’t scare me like that!”
Abandoned Camera Tripod
Camera still recording → playback shows a family waving happily on the same beach yesterday.
Last second of video: static, screaming in the background.
Nobita: “…This was filmed… yesterday…?!”
Footprints in the Sand
Leading toward jungle → look human at first, but warped/clawed at the end.
Nobita: “…Th-these don’t look normal… at all…”
Suitcase by the Shore
Locked → Nobita can break it open.
Inside: scattered notes about evacuation orders + virus breach, plus a bloodied handkerchief.
Nobita: “E-evacuate…? Viral… breach? Wh-what does this mean?!”
Broken Lifeguard Stand
Binoculars left behind. Player can zoom in and spot:
A distant figure standing in the water … but when Nobita lowers binoculars, it’s gone.
Nobita (panicking): “I-I-I definitely saw someone!! Didn’t I?!”
Atmosphere Cues While Exploring
Random gust of wind knocks a beach chair over (jump scare).
Distant muffled groan from a locked beach shack.
Seagull lands, pecks at the sand → reveals a bloodstained cloth.
Ending Beat (Transition)
As Nobita follows the warped footprints inland, music fades to low drones.
He stares into the dark jungle.
Nobita (gulping):
“…If Doraemon’s here… he must’ve gone this way. A-Alright, Nobita… just… be brave…”

its gonna be the beach house where he spanws in.. im tryna lean towards nobihaza the dawn, where he time travels, but like im gonna make him start at the island he and his friends went to in their summer vacation... he goes back to his house from thr or smtn

added dialogue, herb usability.. need to add skills, story, light system, quest system, boss, etc
demo! wasd to move, i for menu, j to equip weapon, n to interact (when not equipped) or to shoot... sorry if its bad..
done with grab mechanics, and main zombie mechanics. did some minor bug fixes, more bugs left to fix... i will add some sound and fix the bugs. then i will make a demo...
done with basic grab and attack mechanics!! need to work on dmg when grabbed, visuals and some minor bug fixes... also need to work on throwing the enemy when grab escaped...
zombie fall mechanics!
so u have to put a vector2 quantity (vector2.up, left etc) and it will fall 2 tiles in that dir. if thrs a solid tile between the target and current, it will fall in place, and if the target is solid, then it will fall 1 tile to the target tile dir. also included some gameplay mechanics (gun, eqp, etc)

uhh, added sprites for shooting, and pistol idle(made by me). the demo had bugs so heres a vid (Srry).
pretty bare bones, thrs a pistol as primary weapon. i for inv, wasd to move, j to equip primary, n or enter to accept/interact/shoot (only when pistol equipped). sorry for this work.
added nobita sprites, i made the idle animation on my own, while others were taken from online. also finisehd main menu

i made my first game asset!! it was a basic tileset for this, edited from https://tomboy-lover.itch.io/japanese-school-tileset.
