today is debug day,and i fixed these bugs:
1.the music stopped playing automatically,so i fixed this by adding a loop script.
2.the animation of the character will disappear suddendly,thats bec there was an animation mistake.
3.fixed the problem that the player will disappear when entering the house.

I'm really proud of things that i accomplished today.
I can finally feed the chickens and cows through a chest.And i can gain eggs and milk from it.
Tomorrow i'll combine all of these testscenes into a real game. And everyone is welcomed to try Croptails!

I have been developing CropTails for a month. During this month, I have learned a great deal, and I hope to share my little experience with all of you. The most important thing is to allow yourself the possibility of trial and error and be open to those mistakes.
I made numerous mistakes in programming. Some were due to missing punctuation marks, improper indentation, or using Chinese punctuation instead of English ones—issues that took me a long time to troubleshoot before finally identifying the root cause. On another occasion, when uploading to my GitHub repository, file conflicts caused all files to throw errors and become garbled. That is why I had to switch my GitHub repository multiple times.
These mistakes cost me days of hard work, forcing me to start over from scratch. However, it was precisely because of these experiences that I learned to back up my work as early as possible, check every punctuation mark rigorously, and, most importantly, slow down and be patient during development. This is the real shortcut, rather than trying to set a one-hour deadline for completing a task, which will only make things worse.
P.S. shiba went wrong yesterday and the day b4 yesterday,so im uploading my day5and6 devlogs today

i logged morethan 2 hours for today,and im very happy that i didnt break the shiba challange bec i went to diensy today:)
i added cows, and these buttons,which is perfect for my farming game!

added my 1st npc:the chicken
the chicken can move freely and randomly.
i commit more then 2 hours,but i crossed midnight,so the time should add all to 2h(see in the screenshots)
the demo is now set to the test scene trees,the chicken and audio will b added in the final ver.

big update!
i added my 1st npc:the chicken
and finally the player can chop trees and rocks!
you cal collect the logs and stone,which will be useful.
in the end,all of these maps will be combined into one,and that will be a very nice farming game:)

The curent demo is just a scene of the game,still developing the basics of the player...
After making KNIGHT, I want to make sth more advnaced, rather then a tutorial game.
To me, making a game can be hard, its not sth like singing a song and danceing in the movies,and things got done magically. Building sth can be hard, but no one was born to do all these stuff, "in life we r always learning"(from Thomas),so i've make up my mind to build another game, its present stage is just a demo of a farm type nurturance departmant game. I will add sth special and sth fun atfer the main paft is finished.
Since i dont have Godot experiences besides KNIGHT, this game is still a tutorial game(watch on utube),but its more fun then KNIGHT.
during this weekend,i spent 5+ hours(probably 8 hours,but i dont know y hakatime said only 5)on the game,added the basics and i was developing sth new! im looking forward for my next update!
btw,im Chinese,so there will b some grammer mistakes of sth else weird mistakes in my English,feel free to cantact me of Slack and Wechat!
