How high can you combo?


Did some more work on teh boss fight.

Added mouse based aiming and some quality updates to the ui.

Generating a backstory for my game

Finally finished the refactor. This took so much longer than I thought. And yeah I know punching doesn't work, but ill get there soon. Time slow temporarily removed. Made the game more difficult because you guys thought it was too easy. PLEASE give me suggestions, I'm kind of lost at where to go with the game
For randomness week I added there a chance that your shot will turn red and do double damage.

Added some basic physics and movement animations

New animation system. I have to do math to connect the body. :(

Added a powerup. Gives you super speed.

Ok, i finally added the controls and a title screen. Im hoping to add character backstory next demo. Also more enemys.
Finished it up. also changed the music

F to attack, space to jump, arow keys to m move, c to slow time. Try to beat the clanker. you have 5 hp.
Worked on some more art. We have a background now. Also added some more animations.

I have given up on organized code. 400 lines of spaghetti code here I come. Also settled on the theme of my game and am developing a story. I've spent a bunch of time making some art for the game so ill release some of that in the next demo

Sound, combo counter, music. If you get to a combo of 4 a shiba will howl in awe of your might. Super Subtle Shiba Reference. Arrow keys to move, f to punch, r to kick, space to slow time. Time gets slower as the enemy gets closer. I incerased the slow range and decreased attack times to allow for higher combos. Eventually once i get the physics working I hope to have it be a slow motion fighting game, kinda like yomi hustle or superhot.
I added sfx, musix, and a combo counter.
