IRL Devlog 11/06 ( 8 hours spent ):-
my and my friend ( deep ) arrived this day and just rushed over to space bar studio after like 9 to 11 hours of traveling
made it in time to attend the kickoff
got stuff for building our arcade machine
used a ras pi 1st time in life and booted raspbian OS on it
programmed my game for the arcade inputs
i wasn't productive enough because i was extremely new this hardware stuff but i still lockedin and learn the most i could
i met with a LOT of awesome guys this day
i also made a whole csv file of japanese words because my brains cells work denying to touch other stuff due to tireness
IRL Devlog 11/07 ( 10 hours spent ):-
i putted my game on the pi !!! ( it didn't worked in the start btw )
learnt about soldering wires from the PCB GOD NOR ( TYSM NOR , without you i would have still be crying over my broken input setup )
i spent most of the time today soldering all the wires ( it was kinda overwhelming for me on the start but its actually simple )
learnt about GPIO Pins and setted them up on my arcade machine ( it was mess so i had to write everything on the back of my arcade machine , lol )
also had a tasty buffe with thomas, armand, noga and mahim ( we had such a good convo , omg )
shifted our machines from space bar to shinjuku ( it was kinda crazy to see like 25-28 teenagers carrying some scary looking electronic stuff in japan metros )
i met with Max in the evening ( He is such a nice and cozy guy, ily )
also fixed a Huge Issue where my game was just crashing on startup because i had a 4 gb ram ras pi 5 machine and switching to a 8GB Ram ras pi 5 fixed the issue ( like WTH ??)
IRL Devlog 11/08 ( 11 hours spent ):
Shiba Exhibition Day !!! YAYAYAY !!
fixed some nasty input issues, made all the buttons and joystick work fr ( i asked nor for help like 3 times and nor helped me everytime, ilysm )
met with Umarbek ( he is soo awesome and cool, i am soo glad i met with him )
2 people played my game too ( YAYAY !! ) , even tho the controls was ultra messy but they still wanted to try my game out, i took reviews from then and i worked over them tonight
IRL Devlog 11/09 ( 9 hours spent ):
I made my game autostart on startup in fullscreen mode and the inputs should work out of box after startup too
added highlights to my arcade machine in english and japanese format for a better understanding of controls
visited meijin shrine ( it was sooooo good )
made a restart popup for my game, so you just press green button and it'll show you a restart game popup ( it had some bugs which i'll be fixing tomorrow )
had a pretty nerdy conversation with flush, noga and Umarbek ( like Ramunajan Series, Linux tools, Maths, 3b1b, etc )
completed my arcade machine and putted in on the Exhibition so others can play it too !!
helped some other ppl in the venue too with inputs and sd cards.
it was a busy day but i had a LOT of fun and i am soo excited for tomorrow's exhibition
did some few changes to lvl 1 map , also drew a bolt on shop sprite : )+51-14▶

i made the background music for in game and main menu pick randomly , so you don't get bored of one single music .
i did some annoying bug fixes as well
made the overall game's aspect ratio seamless of the screen size .

all the audios works, now enemies can speak or make noice at least . also pikachu got his idle sfx and a new thunderbolt sfx. also the tower 50% works now ( which you can use thunderbolt on and it'll glow up a little and open a new door, still not completed yet but i am doing progress ig )

Fixed that H key spamming issue where you spam h key and it spawns that amount of dialogues .
added Two New NPC's into the game ( first one will guide you through game mechanics and you'll have to find 2nd at the end of the current game level )
fixed some bugs ( like player re spawning too late and some internal code re structuring )

you can collect 5 or more bolts to use thunder bolt on an enemy if its in your range.

pokeballs will spawn randomly in the world and you'll have to find it , when you touch that pokeball , a cute pokemon will appear and greet you for saving her/him .
