Risk (biscuits) for the space biscuit! Controls: All mouse! Inventory and Upgrades switch your sidebar content. You can scroll down the sidebar, or filter to get the part you need! Add to rocket, then go over to the grid and the part will follow your mouse! Clicking on a placed down part will send it back to inventory. Each part's stats can be seen and upgraded in the upgrades menu!

additions described in prev devlogs. special tiles (cones are useless if yellow is covered because they're not aerodynamic, engines may burn things if dealt with poorly) is still a wip. Tutorial implemented.
Well... I guess this is goodbye... :')
The Shiba community is so wonderful and I'm so happy to be part of it... Congrats and good luck to those going to tokyo!
It's been REALLY long since I've done anything but anyway
We now have a tutorial! This had quite a few requests and also just made sense in general.
Next steps? Idk. Perhaps item descriptions as well as continuing the monstrosity I left behind when I lost motivation. When will I get to this? Idk, perhaps never

It's been a while since I did something lol but there's been quite a few things happening, honestly I'm just implementing tons of features with no idea how it'll end up lol. Screenshot to leak

FIRST! DEMO! OUT! WAHOOOOO
Did a lot of final touches:
This isn't perfect, but the first release never is. There's plenty to improve! (Although my motivation is really down, please help me get it back up and continue working on this)
This may be the last devlog before the first release :yay:
The upgrades system has been reworked, some parts have special upgrades as you may notice.
Just item balancing and audio and we're ready for playtest part one!

Added part filters, and a whole lot more parts. Plus a few other things.
Next on the map is even more parts (and balancing, god that will take so long lol), redoing upgrades, and a little progression thing on the bottom right.
Stay tuned :)
The rocket now flies. And explodes.
Please clap.
Not much added in code but here's the thumbnail for the game
(note that the rocket in the thumbnail does NOT fly as it contains no fuel tanks lol)

The ui work is done.
at least for what you can see in the screenshot. (except icons lol)
Look how beautiful this is.
It was about 5-8 times as painful.

THE ART IS HERE!!! (Stage 1)
Looks awful right now in integration with UI but I'm just excited I'm not building godot faces anymore. (that messed up wing might be worse than a godot face I'll fix that I promise)
Also you will see the rocket science expert on the left provide some rocket science feedback (what a nerd)
Hopefully next devlog is getting the UI looking a little more like something playable!

Never thought I'd be doing rocket science for a godot game PROTOTYPE but oh well. Anyway rocket launching is all good now. ART IS COMING SOON I PROMISE

Uhh so here's progress so far, prototype and all, we got upgrades, we got the grid, we got literally nothing making sense. Hopefully next devlog I actually know what I'm doing
